Full Moon Trail

The Full Moon Trail will celebrate its 14th edition on 24 October 2026 in Tijarafe, La Palma. The Tijarafe Town Council and the Trecus Athletics Club organise this night-time mountain race, which is included in the K Series Canarias and the Open Trail Isla de La Palma K21 island circuit. The route runs entirely through the municipality under the full moon, within the Starlight character of the event. The programme includes three adult races: Full Moon Trail 24 km, Media Trail 14.5 km and Trail 9.5 km, identified as a Race for inclusion. There will also be non-competitive hiking and children’s activities. The adult running categories allow participation in pairs, with a joint finish in order to be eligible for that classification. The organisers plan to publish the technical details, profiles and GPS or KMZ references of the routes on their website.
