Cursa del Margalló

La Cursa del Margalló celebrates a new edition on 27 September in Olivella, right in the heart of the Garraf Natural Park. Its routes run along tracks and paths through the massif, with a Mediterranean mountain atmosphere, fast sections and others that are more demanding due to elevation gain, which makes it a very representative event for the area and with the option to score for the UTMB Index on the long distance. The organisers provide aid stations during the race and at the finish, a baggage check service, showers, toilets and a start organised by pens. In addition to the main events, there is a 14 km walk, children’s races and an adapted activity, along with race number collection, a runner’s bag and a T-shirt for online entries. It is also stated that there will be a final botifarrada and that the event maintains a family and solidarity-based character.
