Cursa Matonera

La Cursa Matonera celebrates its 6th edition in Marganell, in the heart of the Montserrat setting and among Mediterranean forests that give character to a mountain race closely linked to the town. The route combines trails, forest tracks and moderate elevation gain, with a unique proposal that brings together sport, scenery and local produce, finishing the day with a tasting of honey and mató on reaching the finish. The organisers offer 3 categories with different levels of demand, and provide liquid refreshment stations along the route and solid-liquid refreshment at the finish. Registration includes a race number, T-shirt, access to the refreshment station, final tasting and a drink at the concert bar, as well as entry into draws for local products. It also provides information on the early collection of race numbers and specific authorisation for under-16s.
