Trail Senders del Penedès

The Trail Senders del Penedès celebrates a new edition in Les Cabanyes, in the heart of Alt Penedès, with routes between vineyards, ancient paths and areas of woodland very close to the wine-growing plain. The event also takes in neighbouring municipalities such as Vilobí del Penedès, Font-rubí, Santa Fe del Penedès and La Granada, on an accessible, low-technical course, designed to enjoy the Penedès landscape running or walking. The organisers offer 2 distances, refreshment stations on the route and at the finish, a baggage-keeping service, showers, parking and race-number collection at the Centre Cultural de Les Cabanyes. The shorter race is named Memorial Pau Ortega Amat and the event maintains its charitable side with contributions to the Oncology Laboratory of Hospital Sant Joan de Déu. There is also the option of botifarrada or a vegan alternative at the end.
