Murtrail

Murtrail is a mountain race that celebrates its second edition in Martorelles, within the Serralada Litoral, with routes through Santa Maria de Martorelles, Vallromanes and Montornès del Vallès. The courses run along paths, technical corriols, fast tracks and stretches of ascent and descent that are very typical of the coastal terrain, with a profile designed to enjoy a varied and demanding natural setting. The event maintains the spirit of the organising club and stands out for its runner-focused character, with 85% of the terrain being very runnable over the long distance. The organisers provide official timing, physiotherapy, baggage drop, changing rooms and showers, medical assistance, a pre-race breakfast, refreshment stations and a runner’s bag with a commemorative technical T-shirt. There are also free photos, parking in the area and a festive local atmosphere with a DJ and speaker. The proceeds include a charitable strand with support for the Asociación Maria Sancho and sustainability measures. No walks or children’s events are indicated for this edition.
