Trail 51x13 Villa de la Peza

The Trail 51x13 Villa de la Peza is a mountain race held at the end of October in La Peza, in the Guadix region (Granada), and it forms part of the Gran Premio Provincial de Granada de Carreras por Montaña. It is organised by the Town Council of La Peza and its name refers to the stretch of mountain range between the 51 and 13 kilometre points on the roads in the surrounding area. The long course is around 25 kilometres with approximately 965 metres of elevation gain, alternating forest tracks and paths between 980 and 1.584 metres of altitude, through the pinewoods and rocky outcrops that link La Peza with the Sierra de Beas and the Fardes river valley. The short event covers 12 kilometres along the initial section of the route.
