Trail Villa de Montefrío

The Trail Villa de Montefrío is a mountain race that will take place on 8 November 2026 in Montefrío, in the Poniente Granadino, and it forms part of the Gran Premio Provincial de Granada de Carreras por Montaña. It is organised by the Club Deportivo de Montaña Villa de Montefrío, with the start at the Pabellón Municipal de Deportes and the finish at the Nave Multiusos de Montefrío, and in 2026 it reaches its 11th edition. The long course measures 22 kilometres with more than 1,425 metres of elevation gain within the municipal area of Montefrío, running along paths, forest tracks and ravines, with the crag crowned by the church of the town and the olive groves of the region as a backdrop. The programme includes a mini trail of 15 kilometres and a non-competitive walk of 15 kilometres open to the public.
