CxM Trail Sierra de la Contraviesa

La CxM Trail Sierra de la Contraviesa is a mountain race held in October in Albuñol, at the southern end of Granada, and it forms part of the Gran Premio Provincial de Granada de Carreras por Montaña. It is organised by the Town Council of Albuñol together with the Diputación de Granada and the Federación Andaluza de Deportes de Montaña. The long course is around 25 kilometres through the Sierra de la Contraviesa, between the municipalities of Albuñol and Sorvilán, along a ridge of coastal vineyards, almond trees and low scrubland with the sea of Alborán always in view. The programme is completed with a mini trail of 12 kilometres and with the Gato walking route, of 12 kilometres.
